Bringing hope to the poorest of the poor, one garbage dump at a time. Monday, March 23, 2009. Bringing Peace to the Paz Family. Last week we checked in our first two babies: a brother and sister of a family involved with AFE. The “Paz” family is deeply entrenched in garbage dump life. Both parents work in the garbage; so does each of their children when they leave AFE’s doors: except for these two new inductees to the nursery. Posted by Rey and Elise Diaz. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Bringing hope to the poorest of the poor, one garbage dump at a time. Thursday, July 9, 2009. In All Things God Works for the Good. Many times I have had the experience of chatting with my hair stylist and dentist about what I do only to encounter the response: “Honduras? I’ve never heard of that country before. Where is it located? How could God possibility use the corruption on both sides of the “democratic process” in Honduras to bring forth good? God can truly work good out of bad circumstances.

Bringing hope to the poorest of the poor, one garbage dump at a time. Saturday, February 28, 2009. The Miracle of Pollito. How long, little Pollito, will you grow up in garbage?
