I'm almost a week late for You Capture, but I thought I'd post my pictures anyway. The theme is "warmth", and we had some wonderfully warm temperatures last week! They were short-lived, but it was still nice while it lasted. William looooves to jump in puddles! We live very close to the airport, and William loves to. We play with his train table every day (thank you grandma and grandpa! To indulge his love of trains, we took him to the Jackson Street Roundhouse. I was playing around with my camera settings, so a lot of the pictures unfortunately didn't turn out. Part of the learning curve, I suppose! Steph with Theo and me with William.

It's tempting to use the semi-manual modes since they are so much faster to set up, and my pictures usually turn out (whereas about 75% of the ones I shoot in manual look terrible! I think this is my favorite picture to date that I shot in manual mode. Returning home from a hard day's work. Hey mom, a stick!

All five of the Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion school second grade classes performed "La Mejor de Segundo Grado" (the best of second grade) on May 5. Each class performed their own dance, and then together they sang about eight songs. Olivia and Violet were very excited because they had been practicing for weeks! My favorite was from Olivia, a bunch of rocks covered in glitter. She was really proud and said she made the rocks pretty for me. :). Christmas Eve December 24, 2015. Friday, March 11, 2016. Wow, have I really not posted anything since January 8th? Since spring is almost here it's probably time for an update! Oh well, good thing we had extras. This is what their cards looked like without the glow bracelets. They had a valentines party at school on Friday, February 12, and both of their teachers said they could bring their boxes in.
