Steps: April 2006
http://shrinkingslob.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Physical, Emotional and Mental steps on my journey towards healthy living on every level. Tuesday, April 11, 2006. Well, because I haven’t exercised much, I suppose, and because I don’t follow the diet exactly, I’ve only lost 1.5 lbs in the past 3 weeks, taking my total weight loss to only 31.5 pounds. Which I think stinks. But I hate exercising. So I guess I get what I get. But it looks like I better get moving. Posted by Claudia @ 11:56 AM. Brookneal, Virginia, United States. Physical, Emotional and Mental steps on my journey towards healthy living on every level. Saturday, February 25, 2006. Update and Why I haven't Blogged. Reasons I haven’t blogged:. 1) The scales that said I had already lost weight were not correct. http://everythingadoption.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Everything About Adoption in One Place. Saturday, August 18, 2007. One of the biggest mistakes that I ever made as a pre-adoptive parent was to believe that my children were going to be grateful for what we were doing for them. Coming out of poverty, some living in cars, not always enough food - I figured the things we were providing them were going to be enough that they would be grateful. It didn't happen. Kids have complaints too, but where do they go with their compliants? There are a million examples.

It has also resulted in a lot of frustration for me and others. I could not agree more with the principle. But at what point in time do we conclude that certain children cannot function without more supervision? I don't have answers. I just have a lot of questions. But in theory I must ad...I hop...
