Knitter from Keene: December 2005
http://keenitter.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 24, 2005. Land of the Misfit Knits. I've had a lot of fun this holiday season, thinking of each person and what I might knit for them. Oh the possibilities! I did my best to choose a project that would be perfect for the recipient. But now that they are assembled for a picture, the knits remind me of the misfit toys. You know that whining blubbering group of toys from Rudolf's classic tale, sitting out on an iceberg trying to one up the other on how pathetic each is. Says the ipod cozy.

There isn't much of a selection of buttons where I live, so I will probably have to find them online, or when I go out of town shopping. I think I'll probably look for abalone buttons. What do you think? Thursday, February 21, 2008. I have been follow...

Auburn Camp Shirt KAL. A Knit-Along for the Auburn Camp Shirt designed by Chrissy Gardiner found in Interweave Knits Spring 2008 issue. Monday, February 16, 2009. I just realized I did not sew in the sleeves before doing the side seams. Do you think I can insert the sleeves w/o pulling the seams? Posted by Sarah at Advancing the Plot. It's starting to look like something. I have sewed up the shoulder seams and side seams so I can finally start checking for fit. It looks pretty good so far!

Auburn Camp Shirt KAL. A Knit-Along for the Auburn Camp Shirt designed by Chrissy Gardiner found in Interweave Knits Spring 2008 issue. Sunday, May 4, 2008. Hi all, I am new to the KAL. I have finished the left front and have started the right front of the sweater. So far, so good. My only alteration to the pattern is that I could not sew the hem while I was knitting – it got way too tight – so I will so that at the end. Posted by Sarah at Advancing the Plot.
