Birthday, I choose to participate in a 50 mile footrace. As a birthday present to myself, I bought a boat ride, a 2 night hotel stay and 50 miles worth of running on the golden-brown hills of one of California’s most famous (and infamous) locations, Catalina Island. My adventure started early in the morning on Friday the 13.
