Pray, Play, and Patients. An island girl's quest for change through Child Life. First of all, I would like to clarify that we are not over paid baby sitters. Sadly, I had read somewhere that someone in this world believes this is so. Secondly, I am not a certified child life specialist, but I am learning the tricks of the trade and hope that I can shed some light about this awesome expanding field. Pray, Play, and Patients. An island girl's quest for change through Child Life. Growth is a necessity. Life in general has been a roller coaster ride. Since it is my last year in college, I’ve been trying to balance school life, work life, volunteering, family, friends, and me time. To be honest, I’ve had some days where I felt stuck with my thoughts and what I should do next. After finding inspiration to become a CCLS, I’ve been trying think out options after graduation. Pray, Play, and Patients. An island girl's quest for change through Child Life.
