Sonntag, 9. August 2015. Diese Woche gab es bei mir Kokospavlovas mit säuerlichem Brombeerkompott. Wenn ihr mich fragt, eine geradezu himmlische Kombination. Wer allerdings nichts von den kleinen leckeren Raffaello-Kugeln hält, der sollte die Kokosflocken lieber weglassen. Denn die Pavlovas wähnen einen in der fernen Südsee, wo einem Kokosnüsse mit Strohhalmen und bunte Obstteller gereicht werden. Ich persönlich greife gerade im Sommer immer wieder gerne zu Kokoseis und mag daran vor allem die Konsistenz.

Bluebirds and honey bees. Saturday, March 7, 2015. Little math ninja- counting activity. This little math game is such a fun and easy way for kids to practice counting and number recognition. This activity can be thrown together quickly with materials you have around the home. I used go fish number cards, but you can easily write numbers on note cards. For counters i used fruit loops we had. some more ideas for counters are beans, fish crackers, Pom poms and shells. Hope you enjoy this activity!

SIMPLY STATED : NEVER DULL. Quesadillas and Mix Tapes. Tonight I made cheese quesadillas instead of my usual bowl of cereal for dinner. To at least two of you, this doesn’t seem like a major shake up from my typical “home alone” routine. In fact, I think I talked about cheese quesadillas on Facebook quite extensively last fall. These kicks come in phases. I need to eat veggies. I’m aware. I promise, I keep it balanced. Most of the time. I had a plan for this! I listened to new music. It was so simple then.
