Saturday, May 30, 2009. First day of Summer Break! We've had a fun, exhausting day with Nana and Poppy BIll. We spent all day today visiting farmers markets and the Amish bulk foods grocery in east TN. Visiting Sam's tomorrow and we're stocked for weeks at the Farm! We'll visit the library and get signed up for summer reading, and stop by to see Great Granny Farthing this week. Excited about going to Granny and Pop's next weekend, too! Posted by Backroad Mama. Thursday, March 26, 2009. During break we travelled to the Farm for a Embree and Brice's birthday party with their cousins. It was a rainy weekend, but our entire family loves the Farm so much that we didn't mind. The kids played in the rain and Mom and Dad sat by the fire. Sunday, November 23, 2008. The big kids were invited to a birthday party yesterday, a rare occurance now that we are homeschooling. It was held at Evan's Orchard. There was a hayride, corn maze, giant slide, and toy tractor races. All of this was fun on a normal day.yesterday it was 32 degrees! We left early and had burritos on the way home to warm us up! My grandparents rented a house at Emerald Isle, NC for the month of February and invited the entire family to visit. Though it was a fourteen hour drive, the kids and I had so much fun the four days we were there.
