Adventures in the Middle

Adventures in the Middle. An urban-Suburban California native adjusting to to life in great North. Exchanging flip flops for snow shoes. Thursday, September 23, 2010. One of the hardest things about my move last year was missing the California International Marathon. Granted I might not have run it if I was home — I was still coming off an injury — but at least I would have had the option. This year I decided to go a head and train to run it and Chad is doing it with me. What could be better? One morning...

Like you enough to endure the silence with you.". Well here we like to call that a hotdish.". You realize you are crazy for. Links to this post.

And then started making plans for next year. And Jason had his first experience with cold temperatures that can actually kill you. I would tell you what he said about the cold the moment he felt that first blast of breath-taking air.but I'm trying to keep things kid friendly around here. Links to this post.

Adventures in the Middle. An urban-Suburban California native adjusting to to life in great North. Exchanging flip flops for snow shoes. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I'm all about fall. The leaves are changing.everything smells like cinnamon and camp fire and in Minnesota you can actually go outside without becoming the blood buffet to 10 million mosquitos. However, and this is a big however, I'm not about fall when it appears suddenly without even giving summer a chance to say goodbye.

Studer Stories: Cute As a Button - Lucy's Birthday Party!

http://studerstories.blogspot.com/2012/05/cute-as-button-lucys-birthday-party.html

Monday, May 14, 2012. Cute As a Button - Lucy's Birthday Party! Miss Cute As a Button, ready for the party to start. I busted out the tiny amount of craftiness I possess and made her "1" button-covered tshirt and a button headband. Of course, no birthday party at our house would be complete without a handmade {by the children} birthday banner! Some funny outtakes from our pre-party photo shoot. Sweet girl. Hot stuff just learned how to get up onto the couch by herself. Oh, you want me to be cute? Speakin...

Studer Stories: July 2012

http://studerstories.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 14, 2012. Lemonade Stand (AT LAST). To have a lemonade stand for WEEKS, so today seemed like a great day to do it! I tried to argue that as hot as it was (mid-90's), there might not be a lot of people out, but I was met with the irrefutable logic that "anyone who's out will for sure. Be thirsty and want to buy my lemonade! Can't argue with that, so away we went. First things first, we had to make an eye-catching sign. Everyone looks pumped and ready for customers, don't they? You've stumbl...

Studer Stories: September 2012

http://studerstories.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Lucy Goose at 16 Months. I think this video sums up Lucy in a nutshell - full of spunk and certain she can do whatever the big kids do. Including launching herself off the couch arm. She is such a sweet and funny little stinker. I feel like she's such a peanut compared to everyone else, but her 15 month appointment proved otherwise. She outweighed the other 3 {at this age} by almost 2 pounds and 2-3 inches. She weighs 22.5 lbs and is 31.5 inches tall. Thanks for stopping by!

Studer Stories: Lucy is ONE!

http://studerstories.blogspot.com/2012/05/lucy-is-one.html

Thursday, May 10, 2012. Happy 1st Birthday to our Lucy Goose! Height/Weight: She hasn't had her 1 year appointment yet, but I believe she weighs about 20 lbs and is about 28 inches tall. Words I say: Uh-oh, dada, mama, and today's new addition "nigh-nigh" - this one gets said when she lays her head down on someone's shoulder. Although crawling is still much faster. Favorite Toys: She loves toys that make music and she ADORES baby dolls. Lucy loves her babies. Checking herself out in the camera's screen.
