Often I am disappointed by the lack of rhythm in my work, Athenian drama was written rhythmically, performed almost like a song. It is so hard to find the ways to work that into contemporary theatrical writing, without seeming naff or childish. I have been listening to spoken word poetry online, and revisiting my love for classical music. Posted in Iphigenia amongst the Taurians.
