http://aspiderbee.blogspot.com/2010/04/how-gorgeous-are-these.html
12 women from across the country and across the sea on a mission to create 12 beautiful spiderweb quilts in 12 months.from mostly scraps. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. How gorgeous are these? I'd say pretty GORGEOUS! I am not particularly a fan of batiks, green or purple but look at how stunning this combo is! I changed up the way i did these. Previously when i sewed on each and every strip i sewed though the paper foundation too, but not this time. April 14, 2010 at 12:09 PM. April 16, 2010 at 7:50 PM.

I have the fabric for April cut and ready to go. I was able to find what I wanted at the Lancaster Quilt show with some help and advice from Heidi. Here is half a block done. I wanted to make sure that I liked it before I cut up all the fabric and sent it out. And I LOVE IT! April 2, 2010 at 11:19 AM. April 2, 2010 at 11:22 AM. A Spider Web Bee.

12 women from across the country and across the sea on a mission to create 12 beautiful spiderweb quilts in 12 months.from mostly scraps. Saturday, December 26, 2009. I am in the process of getting my fabric ready to send out and I thought I would post my requests. I am going to go with:. 2 Send my fabric out and request that you each add to what I have sent from your own stash. I found some tea stained muslin that I am going to use as a base for my blocks. Laquo; : One Down, One to Go:. November 3, 2009 by sewkatiedid. My graphic designer/ wonderful family member George of Warp Graphics. Provided me with my awesome logo for Metrosupial Designs. It’s pretty fun to work through this process and George’s first example for my new name, Sew Katie Did made me laugh, so I’m putting it out there. Too morbid? Just funny. It will be interesting to see it’s evolution, and if anyone will join me at my new site. On November 3, 2009 at 5:35 pm. Of course i will join you!

The Grumpy Woodchuck: September 2009
http://grumpywoodchuck.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
26 September, 2009. This week was just so busy. It was a blur. Next week promises more of the same. Today is MW's birthday. LW's birthday is early next week. I baked a cake for MW, which he liked mightily, and treated him and LW to lunch out at Manna House (Korean cuisine) after stopping at the Farmers' Market. Everyone at the Market asked me why I wasn't at the Fiber Twist. I groaned and told them it was complicated. Which it very definitely is. I am just no good when it's humid and hot out there. I hop...

The Grumpy Woodchuck: July 2010
http://grumpywoodchuck.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
17 July, 2010. It's amazing how quickly ones life can fall apart. End of April, I lost my job. I'd tried to cut back on my hours of work time to spare myself of the sort of stress I've endured for ten years with the company, stress that has left me with a permanent heart condition. And when I wasn't as insanely productive as a result, my position came to an end. LW was accepted by the pre-school. For the afternoon session. She's looking very much forward to going. I can only hope that her sch...Adventure...

The Grumpy Woodchuck: November 2009
http://grumpywoodchuck.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
14 November, 2009. Sobering bookmarks from a sad time. In between vacuuming all the rooms in the house today, I've been tidying up my computer on my breaks. I tackled my browser bookmarks earlier. It was very sobering to see an entire section of URLs I bookmarked that were sites about losing one's baby while pregnant, in second or third trimester. I had a really bad. I can't have any more children, which is fine really, and I'm grateful each and every day that my little girl is here in my life. We're sti...

The Grumpy Woodchuck: August 2010
http://grumpywoodchuck.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
31 August, 2010. I'm canning two quarts of tomatoes in their own juice this morning, as a test. Our crop of tomatoes is finally ripening and, as I mentioned previously, I want to provide my family with tomatoes off-season that are not canned in BPA-lined containers. Thanks to the wonders of modern prescription pharmaceuticals, I'm canning without having a heart attack or a nervous breakdown! No word on the dairy co-op job. I suspect I didn't get it. 22 August, 2010. The Tide of Summer Has Turned. I order...

The Grumpy Woodchuck: New year!
http://grumpywoodchuck.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-year.html
04 January, 2011. Well, the good news is.wait for it.I have a new job! A friend tipped me off that there was an opening at the radio station where she worked, I applied for it, had an interview after Christmas, and a JOB OFFER last Friday! LW is now on MassHealth (Massachusett's Medicaid plan) and we're waiting for Mister Woodchuck and me to be approved for some sort of subsidized health care. Maybe, just maybe, things are looking up.
