Dot and Mars: You can't stop us, cause we like doing it: June 2012

Now operating on my second passport means I left Australia for the first time just over 10 years ago, and on this trip, a number of things have become glaringly obvious on How Times Have Changed. Like a teenager in an adult's body. And it's this that appeals to me. Although, the backpack was invented for a reason! And not an altogether silly one - they are highly mobile, and much easier to manoeuver. So you see, it's almost as though I have graduated. Travelling by taxi, packing a suitcase…. 10 years ago...

Squeeze My Feathers: evening.
http://squeezemyfeathers.blogspot.com/2010/12/evening.html
Someone described me the other week as a slightly more obnoxious, significantly less successful, mildly less funnier version of Larry David. And not more than 3 days ago, a different someone said I sounded like an annoying version of Jerry Seinfeld. And my mum said Ian Thorpe reminds her of me. What's up. This shit is real. Squeeze My Feathers: December 2010

Trust Watch. Wednesday. Though I do love a lady in a head scarf. I'm thinking more Grace Kelly head scarf than Higab. As for berets. Well you better be damn cute. Trust Watch. Tuesday. I have always been of the opinion that if you have something of exquisite beauty, you don't hide it, or cover it up purely to protect it from being damaged. This is the reason I have never worn sunglasses to hide my eyes. Ridiculous and having an even more ridiculous name,. Again, I feel like I am the only one that sees th...

Squeeze My Feathers: June 2009
http://squeezemyfeathers.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
I have noticed some crazy things going on in the world recently. The election and subsequent protest in Iran, the death of Michael Jackson and the Ute-gate political non-scandal. I can only put this down to one thing; it’s been months since the last edition of Trust Watch. Look, I don’t, as a general rule, trust small things. Insects, genitals, people – when they are small they are not to be trusted. Vegetables are no different! The main culprit –. Where the fuck was this vegetable 10 years ago? There wa...

The Voice of Today's Apathetic Youth: July 2011

The Voice of Today's Apathetic Youth. May god have mercy on you vile creatures."- 'Louise', 03/10/2008. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Setri at 14 months. Ok, for the most part this was written on my BlackBerry with the most recent stuff on top and the older stuff below, kind of like a newsfeed. This time I'm testing the email posting function :) Photos later. Day before turning 15m, Gam and I wind up in a conversation about Setri, and I say, semi facetiously, "Setri knows his alphabet, don't you, Setri? No ans...

The Voice of Today's Apathetic Youth: Still breathing
http://todaysapatheticyouth.blogspot.com/2012/09/still-breathing.html
The Voice of Today's Apathetic Youth. May god have mercy on you vile creatures."- 'Louise', 03/10/2008. Sunday, September 09, 2012. Still alive. Still very slack about blogging. And about housework. Setri and Gam are still awesome :) The state of politics in Australia still pisses me off, even if I never get around to writing about it any more. The state of politics in Queensland is so mind-bendingly appalling it's hard to know what to say about it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
