Hams and Eggs Oklahoma: Balloon Chase Hobby
http://ke5lep.blogspot.com/2009/09/baloon-project.html
Sunday, September 13, 2009. Here is a very good site and quite an interesting story about a Ham Radio guy and a balloon. Http:/ vpizza.org/ jmeehan/balloon/. It talks about Video. LINUX Computer on a board. Balloon Launch, Chase and Recovery. This is a great story. Maybe one of you would like to recreate this adventure. Ive pondered that project over the years. There are ways now to make it smaller, faster, cheaper, lighter and therefore go higher. Id love to undertake a piece of a group project like this.

http://kd5njr.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Amateur Station KD5NJR . on the web. A blog about my activities and interests in space, rockets, aviation, amateur radio and technology. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Dreaming and the BIS Lunar Lander. I got caught up on a few back issues of Outside and National Geographic Adventure, then I went for a smoothie. After that, I went for a nice walk today and when I got home, I made some replies to Gene's blog. And posted to Stan's. A little ditty about the BIS Lunar Lander. But isn't that good enough?

Hams and Eggs Oklahoma: Check it out: Broken Arrow Balloon
http://ke5lep.blogspot.com/2009/10/check-it-out-broken-arrow-balloon.html
Thursday, October 8, 2009. Check it out: Broken Arrow Balloon. Http:/ brokenarrowballoon.blogspot.com. This post is good. I checked out the link and it worked fine. The idea of taking the first step to create a weather balloon launch is great. We can begin with a smaller scale, cheaper lanunch, and start moving forward to a more elaborate radio tracking launch later. I feel like one of the Wright brothers. October 8, 2009 at 10:46 PM. Hams and Eggs Oklahoma: Food For Thought
http://ke5lep.blogspot.com/2009/08/food-for-thought.html
Friday, August 28, 2009. Http:/ www.mental-health-today.com/Healing/cog.htm. Here is a link to a list of tools for checking your thoughts. One of the things that we do on Ham Radio is to compare ideas that might make the load a little lighter for others. This is for discussion only.no guaranteed results.no proof of outcomes is included. I have used the list as a listening tool. If you like it, let me know. August 28, 2009 at 11:21 PM. I saw this list some years ago and it helped me. Thats all. The Future...

Hams and Eggs Oklahoma: Balloons, File Sharing, Old Satellite Dishes, Ham Radio

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Balloons, File Sharing, Old Satellite Dishes, Ham Radio. Passing traffic via wi-fi connection from neighboring ham to ham to ham might be viable if a disaster ever took down Cox or your Internet provider. Http:/ www.enquirer.com/editions/2004/08/05/loc wifiteens05.html. And these young folks did it with surplus materials. Substitute a 4,600 ft mountain with a balloon-mounted wireless router and you could probably exceed their record of 50 miles. Just a thought . Readers of th...

Hams and Eggs Oklahoma: Teletype over Amateur Radio (RTTY)
http://ke5lep.blogspot.com/2009/09/teletype-over-amateur-radio-rtty.html
Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Teletype over Amateur Radio (RTTY). Anyone active presently on RTTY? Guy (WB5MXO) has mentioned past work with RTTY on VHF lately. Sounded interesting. Any particular websites for such stuff? I found this one:. Http:/ www.rtty.com/. Http:/ www.nadcomm.com/. A communications museum. Cool! September 1, 2009 at 8:54 PM. Ive done some HF work with RTTY during the Oklahoma Digital Net when it was on the air. If youre set up to do PSK, then you can do RTTY as well. KE5QDA BLOG - MAC.
