Simple Grace Ministries: May 2009
http://simplegraceministry.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. A water fight was one of the Memorial Day activities in Big Springs, Nebraska, where we ministered at an All-City worship service on Sunday morning. Our family was scheduled to minister in Lexington that same afternoon, so we couldn't stay to find out who won the fight. It looked very refreshing, and once-in-a-while, the opponents would shoot the water at each other instead of the barrel. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. . . . Our God is so creative! Simple Grace Ministries: August 2009
http://simplegraceministry.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Bristol is recovering well. Psalm 3, verse 8 caught my attention this week. The verse says, “Thy blessing be upon Thy people! 8221; Since I had studied the word ‘blessed’ in the New Testament, I looked up this word in the Old Testament lexicon. The word is translated blessing. But also means a benediction, benefit, favor, peace, and referred me to the root word ‘shalowm’,. As I followed the study of ‘shalowm’. The only true source of peace is God! Glorify God in it! See also t...

Thursday, July 31, 2008. A thousand definitions pop up when the word MOM comes to mind. In honor of our mother's 51. St birthday today, we thought we'd do a little research into the word. Mother": a female parent, a woman in authority.maternal tenderness or affection.something that is an extreme. Or ultimate example of its kind. She never quite leaves her children at home,. Even when she doesn't take them along.". A man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best,. But his mother the longest.

Simple Grace Ministries: November 2008
http://simplegraceministry.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. As a Thanksgiving tradition, our family makes a "Thankful Tree." Writing things we're thankful for on construction paper leaves, we glue them on a branch harvested from our acreage. It's delightful to see what everyone is thankful for, and watch the tree fill up with thankful notes until we have no more room to add them! I will praise the name of God with song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Wonderful years since Blake lit our house up with his ever-ready humor and tender heart. We're sad to be on the road today while he's at home, but we've all been thinking about him all day! Blake was born two weeks late, and didn't have a name for the first five days of his life! When he finally got his name, us kids ran around the house chanting,. Goodness sake his name is Blake, doesn't that just take the cake? Blake was lively and entertaining from the minute he was born.

Thursday, March 25, 2010. I missed blogging for the whole first quarter, so I guess I'll just fill in the gaps by sharing some highlights! Simple Grace traveled throughout the southeastern states during January, February and early March. Cold weather stalked us everywhere! The early part of our tour included the annual WE CARE Prison Crusade. One of the prisons we ministered in was Bullock Prison near Union Station, Alabama. Even though the institution looks formidable, a strong church resides. Sterling ...
