Erin Elizabeth Photography: About Me
http://erin-elizabeth-photography.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
My name is Erin Howell. Over the past year I've been photographing with one of my best friends, Lauren, as Two Girls and a Camera. Sadly, Lauren is moving to Dallas, Texas so we will both be flying solo except for occasional weddings which we will still try to do together. My "studio" ranges from urban to natural backdrops and anywhere in between. Natural lighting is what I love best as it let's the beauty that God gave us shine through in your photos. our little life: dirt
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2012/05/dirt.html
May 1, 2012. This is my new favorite picture. Case in point, we went to the doctor a week or so ago. Chloe was doing really well in the waiting room but soon got restless, so we walked outside. She did great walking up and down the sidewalk chasing me until she saw what lined the flowerbed - mulch. She was a goner after I wouldn't let her dig into her treasured dirt and take a sample to her doctor. . Dirt it makes her happy. . Silly little girl. she makes me happy. our little life: June 2012
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
June 6, 2012. Dinner dos and donts. Eating at the table with a 17 month old poses quite a challenge most evenings. First, it was pray through the screaming. Then, it was "Don't throw your food." After that we moved on to "Put your food back on your plate" or "You eat it, don't give it to the dog." . This girl used to gobble up broccoli, scarf down green beans, and even savor spinach! Now, it's all I can do to get her interested in anything other than carbs and carb sprinkled protein. Argh! I am so weird.

our little life: August 2011
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
August 20, 2011. Several months ago, Jacob found out we could own up to six chickens where we live in the city limits. It didn't take long for him to begin construction on a hen house to be tucked away in our backyard. Once Jacob's dad got involved, we had a grandiose poultry paradise. It was originally supposed to be about half this size. But we like to spoil our chickens. :). They have a nice little window with a pretty plant ledge. A little door for easy egg collection. FRESH eggs are so much better!

our little life: September 2013
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
September 18, 2013. Apple fritter overnight french toast. Okay, this was totally worth resurrecting the blog. I made an egg nog version of this for Christmas morning last year and thought it was really good but not great. This apple fritter bread just takes this to a whole new level and we are officially hooked. The best thing is that it only takes about 10 minutes to throw together then you wake and bake. . Apple Fritter Overnight French Toast . 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter. Can't...

our little life: shiny shoes and the best card ever
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2012/05/shiny-shoes-and-best-card-ever.html
May 13, 2012. Shiny shoes and the best card ever. How was your Mother's Day? Mine was pretty good. . It started off with me giving Jacob grief about not saying Happy Mother's Day. (I can be a jerk in the morning! Then, I helped keep the nursery during worship service. Chloe loved clinging to me almost the entire time. It didn't really bother me that much though. An absolutely thought-provoking Bible class followed. . In case you can't read it, it says:. What a great mom you are Candace. I am so blessed t...

our little life: merry and bright
http://ateacherandatech.blogspot.com/2012/12/merry-and-bright.html
December 28, 2012. This has by far been the best Christmas ever. I think we have a certain little two year old to thank for that. She is such a blessing! There was Cookies and Milk with Santa - minus the pic with Santa. She would NOT go anywhere near him. . She loved all of the games though. . There have been lots of days staying in pajamas and embracing the bed head. . And lots of Ho-Hos. There was a trip to the Enchanted Forest. . There was a fun and chilly trip to Zoo Lights. She pulled these letters ...
