Commissioned for Friday Late at the V&A’s Cold War Modern event (October 08), the Stealth Project uses NOVA (a 3D grid of LEDs) to display a 3 dimensional dynamic light-based visualisation. Planes, missiles and other hardware that deflect or otherwise avoid radar detection were key in the race for world supremacy. Detection avoidance, or stealth technology, was one of many ‘developments’ to emerge from the Cold War. It also features 2 Monome64 interfaces. Stealth Project on Vimeo.

Mephisto is a physical installation which explores the integration of the physical environment with the media environment through the limited palette of one physical sensor: the potentiometer and one media effector: video. This project explores the possibilities under heavy media constrains. The potentiometer is attached to a champagne glass as a physical input. The output is a series of schizophrenia like video projection. Watch how it works, live presentation and backstage footage.
