An open space to muse, reflect and ponder on life, love and learning. Thursday, September 29, 2011. JI Packer on the Sovereignty of God. 8220;I do not intend to spend any time at all proving to you the general truth that God is sovereign in His world. Because 'journey would sound like I know where I'm going. Faith: reflecting on evidence. On Spherical Cows and the Search for Truth. On interpretation and reinterpretation of the Bible. Society changes, but the Bible doesn’t. So how can the Bible have anything relevant to say that can guide our lives in this 21st century, interconnected, post-modern world?
