Out of the Cubicle onto the Open Road
Cancelled by Sprint
http://www.afamilyfarafield.com/2012/06/20/cancelled-sprint/john-fremont
A Family Far Afield. Out of the Cubicle onto the Open Road. You are here: Home. June 20, 2012. Well, I knew that this might happen, but I thought I had escaped the executioner. While we were traveling, our cell phones were our lifeline to the world back home. We used them for phone calls, email, blog postings, bill paying and banking, directions, weather, logistics and trip planning. So what exactly was my sin? Sprint is currently advertising that they have unlimited data. When I heard the news, I was in...

A Family Far Afield. Out of the Cubicle onto the Open Road. You are here: Home. More “Stuff” – We Packed Too Much. More “Stuff” – We Packed Too Much. June 23, 2012. Imagine going on a year-long trip. How many bags would you pack per person, one or two? Or, a better idea for reading would have been an electronic book: Nook, iPad, or Kindle. Plus, it is surprising how much games and sporting equipment. We also placed our bicycles on our rack. I wish we had not packed them because, as you may have read.

Celebrating Themeless Discontinuity: February 20 - Tulum Day 3, Tulum Ruins
http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2011/03/february-20-tulum-day-3-tulum-ruins.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Saturday, March 5, 2011. February 20 - Tulum Day 3, Tulum Ruins. As the third most-visited Mayan site in the Yucatan, Tulum is constantly teeming with languages from all over the world. It sits on a bluff at the edge of the sea, precariously balanced on the precipice of history. Arguably the most luxuriously-located Mayan city, Tulum served as the port for nearby, and significantly less-commercialized, Coba, about 50 km inland. Candice Does The World. Onetrave...
Celebrating Themeless Discontinuity: Flamenco - Tulum , Day 2
http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2011/03/flamenco-tulum-day-2.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Flamenco - Tulum , Day 2. The man in the back with the guitar, his eyes shaded with a straw Panama hat, hummed along with each strum, and the woman next to him used an old apple crate to provide the pulse of the music. And they circled around, the spritely dancers…. Swirling skirts and stomping heels. Claps of hands and flicks of wrists kept time, each passionate step outlining a sad story of longing and unfulfilled desire.
Celebrating Themeless Discontinuity: November 2010
http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Thursday, November 18, 2010. Yesterday, Brewer the Brewmaster Dog and I had the esteemed pleasure of putting the very first footprints in the new snow at Popo Agie Falls. It doesn't happen often, as the trail is extremely popular, but I guess midday on a Wednesday in the off-season is the time to enjoy the Gateway to the Winds. Monday, November 15, 2010. How Did We Get Here? How did we become a generation of semi-nomadic professionals? Tuesday, November 9, 2010.

Celebrating Themeless Discontinuity: February 2011
http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Sunday, February 27, 2011. February 18 - On the Plane to Tulum! Not to constantly compare my life to a Jimmy Buffett song, but so often it seems entirely appropriate (which I guess is something to be proud of! Well he’s on his third drink before the wheels of the plane leave the ground…. And that’s just the start of a well-deserved, overdue binge. Meanwhile back in the city, certain people are starting to cringe! February 18 - Tulum, Day 1. International Pedig...
Celebrating Themeless Discontinuity: February 21 - Tulum, Day 4: Grand Cenote
http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2011/03/february-21-tulum-day-4-grand-cenote.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Tuesday, March 15, 2011. February 21 - Tulum, Day 4: Grand Cenote. We’ll start with the moral of the story: everybody looks dumb in snorkeling gear. Even Clive Owen would look like a bug-eyed trout stuck in the sand with a mask, a snorkel and some fins on. There’s just nothing for it. Slowly lowering yourself into the clear depths, you can see why the Maya thought these waters were sacred and cleansing. But remember, you WILL look stupid in your snorkel gear.

http://kb310703.blogspot.com/2011/03/plethora-of-photos.html
A blog resembling a stream of consciousness. Thursday, March 17, 2011. A Plethora of Photos. We took hundreds of photographs during our time in Tulum, Mexico, and only a small portion appear here on our blog. We try to choose the best or the most dynamic (or at least the ones that best represent who we are as a couple and as travelers), but if you are interested in seeing our larger collection of awesome Tulum photos, please visit our Flickr Set. A Family Farm — Quality Labrador Breeders in Redding, Connecticut
Gypsy Jet of A Family Farm. Sammy Sweetheart and Her Pups 2015. May 13, 2015. One of Sammy Sweetheart’s pups born May 1, 2015. Sammy Sweetheart’s pups barely fit into the scale! It’s hard work being a mom. Sammy gets some time by herself right outside her whelping box. Some of the girls came in to check on Sammy and her pups last week. Sally had a better view of the pups from the bed. This is a view of the “Peanut Gallery” when pups were being born. Everyone had to watch from the hallway. March 31, 2015.
