Thursday, April 19, 2007. Here I am in down town Los Angeles ready for a fun day of orientation. It's time to get aquainted with the school, meet the staff and make new friends. I was excited. Reality hit me when I entered the rotunda on the main campus. Hundreds of people where jammed together in lines that had no clear ending. Was I supposed to get line too? Thanks for the heads up guys. I was so not prepared. I felt lost, I was alone, and I just wanted to go home. Oh ya I still didn't have a home.

We arrived in California two days before my orientation was to start. Our first mission was to find some place to stay. We still had no luck renting an apartment right away. Unless we wanted to sleep with one eye opened at night. We had no other choice than to rent a hotel room for the night. Aint Got A Home.
