The swampy bog of worry and panicked thought? To stand knee deep in it is both a comfort and dread. Here, in the center, no one can touch me, see me, criticize me. It is me and this repugnant slime,. A manifestation of the worst of me. And so it sucks me down until I realize. I cannot breathe and there is no one.

Thursday, September 11, 2008. Has it really been a year? Has it really been a year since I updated my blog? Saturday, August 25, 2007. The weather wasn't very kind to me though - it rained the whole of Wednesday and most of Thursday. My jeans were wet along with my shoes and socks, and I trudged through the streets with swollen and soggy feet!
