I posted a few weeks ago about making my own dishwasher detergent and rinse aid and I just wanted to update on my experiment. For now we are back using our “usual” brand until I have time to play around with the “recipe”. On the other hand, the white vinegar rinse aid is working really well 🙂. Trying to live well, save money and reduce our waste. Put on rubber gloves and mix the following:. 140g Grated Pure Soap (I use soap flakes). Use 1 tablespoon for a light load and 2 tablespoons for heavily soiled loads. Over Night Toilet Cleaner. Pour 250ml White Vinegar into toilet bowl, i usually add 5 or 6 drops of essential oil (usually Tea Tree or Lavender). Add 250g Baking Soda to the toilet bowl .
