Class 40 International Seminar Scouting Trip. June 22, 2010 · 8:57 pm. To Sfax and Back. Last day in Tunisia was another good day. Before leaving Kairouan we visited the local Medina. The wall around this old city is intact. Inside the walls we were able to visit a carpet-weaving coop. This is a government run program that provides home employment to local women who create hand made carpets in wool and silk. Absolutely beautiful handwork. The wall around the Medina in Sfax.
