Monday, September 24, 2012. Fall Decorating on the Cheap: Burlap Wreath and Toilet Paper Pumpkins. The hubby and I just started the Financial Peace University course by Dave Ramsey through our church. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to get our finances in order, but it also means no more random trips to Hobby Lobby or Michael's whenever I see something I HAVE to try on Pinterest. This year when decorating for fall I. I can only use what I already have. About 1 yard of burlap fabric. I got some awe...

Monday, July 15, 2013. Project Wedding: The Decor. Welcome back to my Project Wedding series where I've highlighted aspects of Carla and David's country, rustic wedding. Today I'm bringing you the decor, much of which we did ourselves. We also used tin cans with burlap, lace ribbon, and jute to hold baby's breath and roses. Floating candles in mason jars completed the centerpieces. I also made a few chalkboards for the occasion using the same technique I had for my faux chalkboard ar. Thanks for joining ...

Lizzi's Creations: Project Wedding: A House Divided Candy Bar
http://lizziscreations.blogspot.com/2013/08/project-wedding-house-divided-candy-bar.html
Saturday, August 10, 2013. Project Wedding: A House Divided Candy Bar. Carla and David had a fabulous rustic themed wedding. The decor fit the theme perfect, except for the amazing detail of the candy bar. Carla is a huge Alabama fan, and David roots for Auburn, so Carla wanted that reflected in some aspect of the wedding. A house divided candy bar was the perfect addition to their reception. The Roll Tide and War Eagle candy buffet was very popular. The kids especially loved the candy. It also s...3 DIY...

Junky Vagabond: A Thrifted Mid-Century Redo
http://junkyvagabond.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-thrifted-mid-century-redo.html
Monday, October 15, 2012. A Thrifted Mid-Century Redo. This little table was found on a thrifting adventure here in Maryland with two of my fave bloggers, Gwen. On my way out the door with a bunch of little items, I saw the tv playing to keep the kiddies happy while their moms found. Treasure. What was really catching my eye was the little table that served as the tv stand. I convinced the manager that she could give up that table (to me). I have no shame. It never hurts to ask! C'est la vie, right?

http://craftywimama.blogspot.com/2013/09/my-favorite-fall-posts.html
My Favorite Fall Posts. It's been a little over a year since I started blogging. It's been quite the journey, and I really enjoy writing and sharing much more than I imagined. It helps that there are so many wonderful ladies in the blogosphere, who are so inspiring! I get a little sentimental when looking back at old posts, and I thought I'd round up my favorites from last fall. Please don't mind the poor photos - practice makes progress! Need a new wreath, but don't want to spend much? At the Dollar Tree.
