It is nothing like other wildlife reserves in other parts of Africa,yet it is still worth visiting (although I have serious doubts if it is really worth that much! In most touristy places what happens behind your back is a very ugly fight between guides. Especially since this year there were fewer tourists….

For the last few days I have been travelling along the Senegal river. The landscape changed rather dramatically: it became very arid and only acacia trees can withstand the desert wind. I had to cover my mouth with the scarf not to have all that dust in my lungs. Sometimes on the horizon I saw mudbrick huts almost completely blending with the landscape.

I left Gambia for a very simple reason:I ran out of Dalasis (Gambian currency) and the nearest ATM was in Senegal. If you ever visit this country remember to take out enough cash (which might mean withrawing several times,as ATMs have limits). Anyway I managed to cross the entire country and I have to admit: being back in Senegal felt so good! December 26, 2013. 8217;, but I grew used to that🙂.

Wielki powrót… nie tylko do SZKOŁY :). Skoro dziś mamy ostatni dzień wakacji – zapraszam do obejrzenia zdjęć mojej małej uczennicy, która jako 6-latek idzie do szkoły. W sesji plenerowej uczestniczyła również jej najlepsze koleżanka z przedszkola. Sesja jest dla nas bardzo wyjątkowa, ponieważ drogi dziewczyn się rozchodzą – idą do różnych szkół.
