Kent's Korner: Biking in Oakland
http://kentlewan.blogspot.com/2012/01/biking-in-oakland.html
Technology, politics, the environment, and random scribblings. Friday, January 13, 2012. Yesterday after work I biked 6 miles from my office near downtown to Darin's house. I dispute the finding of the author that biking in cities is bad for you. After some huffing and puffing, I arrived, sweaty and hot, at my destination. My host was gracious to fetch me a glass of water so I could cool off while listening to our teleconference call for the next 30 minutes! Please submit your comment here.

Kent's Korner: January 2012
http://kentlewan.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Technology, politics, the environment, and random scribblings. Saturday, January 21, 2012. I made bread today. I used a rye bread recipe I got from a colleague who introduced me to his homemade rye bread made from sourdough starter. The ingredients are a mixture of white and wheat flour, rye flour, caraway seeds and some salt. Pretty simple, actually. I think the caraway seeds are the most important ingredient, as they give the bread its distinctive flavor. Bread Of course, I do this AFTER failure at bak...

Technology, politics, the environment, and random scribblings. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Musings on the Green Mayors Forum. So last week I was in the news a bit for not inviting all the mayoral candidates to the "Sierra Club Green Mayoral Forum." This was an interesting and unaccustomed role to be playing. I'm usually not very public. In fact I only joined the Sierra Club to go hiking and meet girls! And then he promptly posted my entire email. Claiming I mistook him for a candidate!
