The Capacity Building Workshop brought together senior National Human Rights Institution officials with non-government actors from across the Asia Pacific to gain a deeper understanding of the work of the Court and to raise questions and issues about how to incorporate the Rome Statute in their work at the local level. The workshop strengthened networks between the delegates and also highlighted the need for ongoing training and education in the area.
