Throughout the winter of 2008 and early in 2009, all classes worked on larger scale paintings. The two classes of middle school students worked on individual "tiles" or sections of two rather unique murals. One mural featured Mussorgsky's "Pictures in an Exhibition". Last month, we announced to the local kids that we will have a pumpkin carving and spaghetti night at our house, last Sunday o' the month. It was great fun and a big success. None of these kids had ever done this before and scooping. Out the guts was big messy fun. We scraped out the meat and everyone was sent home.
