It is one of 24 regions within the American Iris Society (AIS), a national organization devoted to promoting interest and development of all iris types. Region 13 encompasses the states of Oregon, Washington and Alaska, the province of Vancouver B.C. and the Yukon. AIS Region 13 is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization with over 330 members.
