The email system at work is hosted by Google, with all the usual spam filtering and folders. So here it is, the number of items in my spam folder, every day new ones arrive, every day gmail deletes anything that's been in there for more than 30 days. It'll keep on being updated and regenerated as long as I remember, since it's only half automated at the moment. Graph of spam accumulating in my 30-day spam folder. The how and the why; here's a list of the years mentioned in various pages. The site appeared sometime in 2001 and started growing forwards through time, then backwards as I used it to fill in photo albums, daily ramblings, and some of my travel journals. The earliest entry is currently in 1993. Then a gap to 1998. Then every year to 2013.

Ride report for December 2012, and 2012 and 2013 totals. 2012 cycling wrap up. Increased both the target distance and the percentage completed in the last year; up from 5000km to 5200km, and completed 97%, up from 94%. Still plenty of room for improvement though. It would have been worse but I forced myself out for three last gasp rides, one on [2012-12-30 Sun]. And then two on [2012-12-31 Mon]. According to my GPS, here's my ride report for December 2012 and for all of 2012:. 502297 km at 19.04 km/h.

First rides of a trailgator. Pause for 24 hours while my sister and brother in law visited from afar. Sunday morning and we took the whole ensemble out to the end of the street for a test ride in the park. 10m into it and there's a very worried "Dad, it's a bit too fast! Packer park velodrome, setting a record for trailgator lap times.
