Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Wake Up, Boy. The scene in Andrew's bedroom every school morning. Friday, March 22, 2013. The Passover According to Adam. We've been recording the History Channel's miniseries "The Bible" for the past several weeks but haven't been able to watch any of it yet. Tonight was the first Friday evening in some time that we've all been home, so we ordered pizza and gathered together to watch the first installment. It seems really well done so far! Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Libby, I have ...

Although I was surprised by God's rather high-pitched voice.I always imagined Him as a bass. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Pirates and Petunias: Easter 2013
http://carolinanicholsfamily.blogspot.com/2013/04/easter-2013.html
Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Easter began with the boys' standard: setting up a Bunny Sting. Although they carefully aimed video recorders at the doors in hopes of catching the Easter Bunny at work, EB slipped through their snare once again! We're not sure how he managed to enter our house. In fact, at first we weren't even sure he did because. There were no Easter baskets. Just a note telling everyone to wait for further instructions. Well, that was certainly a mystery! Adam was ticked off about the way his ...

Pirates and Petunias: April 2013
http://carolinanicholsfamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 6, 2013. We are not really Spring Break-ers. Since we live in the beautiful Carolinas, it doesn't really seem necessary to go someplace warm for Spring Break when we can just stay home, sleep in every morning, and enjoy our own lovely climate. Except for this year. Warm, sunny Florida or someplace Caribbean would have been nice this year. Seriously, on Thursday it was 41 degrees. On Wednesday, one of the neighbor moms and I got. Dear Children of Mine,. Nothing crazy about this. One fun th...

Pirates and Petunias: May 2012
http://carolinanicholsfamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 13, 2012. The kids and Steve engineered yet another great Mother's Day for 2012. The kids had all been working on little gifts at school during the week. Adam just couldn't keep his little handprinted tile to himself and gave it to me on Wednesday, but Andrew and Libby managed to wait until the big day to give me a potted petunia and heart-shaped birdseed bird feeder. Here is the masterpiece:. As always, the kids were so excited to show me their handiwork. As always, I was amazed! Olympus Cam...

Pirates and Petunias: August 2012
http://carolinanicholsfamily.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Last year Andrew got accepted at a new school. Unfortunately Adam's number didn't get called in last year's lottery, so he went to a different school. Meanwhile, Libby went to preschool (yet another school to drive to! Last year was an interesting one. I was pretty tired by May. This year, Adam got into Andrew's school! Relief.* He is so excited to be going to the same school as his big brother. One of my (many) favorite things about the boys' new school? One Year Bible Blog.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Wake Up, Boy. The scene in Andrew's bedroom every school morning. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life with our school-aged Pirates and Petunia has become ever busier; consequently the blog entries have become ever fewer. But I keep in mind some of my favorite song lyrics: "Our lives are made in these small hours." This is my place to record and remember the small hours. View my complete profile. One Year Bible Blog.
