Saturday, January 21, 2012. Winter Has Come and Winter Has Gone. Monday we finally had enough snow on the ground that the kids could go outside and play. Daniel and I weren't exactly excited about going outside in the very cold temperatures so we bundled the kids up and sent them on their way (into the back yard). Sunday, October 21, 2012. Links to this post. Coldwater Creek/Inventory Planning Summer Party. Natalie and I starting to build sandcastles. The sand was the perfect consistency to make sandcastles. Both kids loved it because our sandbox at home you can't exactly make sandcastles with. It is too fine unless of course we take the hose to it then it is just muddy. The kids like that even better. Monday, October 11, 2010. Weekend Getaway to Washington. All in all a great weekend. I wish we lived closer. We really had a lot of fun visiting with both sides of the family. We have discovered one thing though.we need to plan more time for our getaway's when there is more than one side of the family we want to see. We really did have a lot of fun. Saturday, January 8, 2011. Natalie's favorite book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see? She has this book memorized then decided it needed to take a bath and then took a very long trip to see the garbage man. Well, for Christmas Santa (Johnson Grandparents in this case) brought Brown Bear back to us. So she has now almost got it memorized again. Here is a video of her reading this book. We decided that since we were so new to the whole family bike trip that we would stay close to the car.While on the trail we ran into a newer park built near downtown Coeur d'Alene.the kids had a lot of fun at the park. Thursday, April 24, 2014. This year was a very quiet Easter. Every year for the last 5 or so years Grandma and/or Grandpa Aikele have been with us AND we had not just moved either. So this year our ward did an Easter breakfast ending with an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Natalie and Corbin now digging into the candy.
