The Overberg Family: January 2014
http://theoverbergfamily.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 4, 2014. We've had a few snowfalls already this Winter, much to the kid's excitement! Some snowfalls have only been good for running and playing while others enabled us to build the first Snowman of the season - coal eyes, carrot nose, banana mouth, windmill arms, a scarf, and topped off with a cozy hat! Christmas was magical, as it has been since we had kids. They excitedly ran out on Christmas morning to see if Santa came - joyous squeaks of "yes, he came, he came! So thankful for the...

Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Vacation Part II - a tad late. I've had a hard time feeling the writing bug lately, and this has delayed my posting about our wonderful second week of vacation this summer.inspiration strikes tonight! We only had 1-1/2 hours left to drive and about 1 hour in realized that I didn't type the right address - see missing zip code note above - and were en route to a different island. There were beach access points, swimming pools, deer who got incredibly close, and alligators - yes...

Exploring asia one step at a time. Thursday, October 29, 2009 by travelgirl. Avoid the pretty English-speaking local girls goading men into coffee and conversation. What resembles a genuine invitation could be a press-ganging to a pricey cafe or bar and the unexpected presentation of a staggering bill. Just pretend you don't speak English. Lonely Planet, Shanghai. Them: Do you need help? Me: Just looking for the museum. Them: Where you from? Them: Ohh. USA. Very good! How long you here? Me: Take a break?

Exploring asia one step at a time. Library of Celsus, Ephesus. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 by travelgirl. Slope Houses, Ephesus. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 by travelgirl.
