The Mo'o Project. This site is about living a mo'o worthy life. Hōkūleʻa by Vernice Weenera. We have all watched. The ocean of possibilities. Beyond our doors,. Wondering, in our complacency,. Whether we had courage enough. To chart a course. No one of us. Can yet walk on water,. And so few ever try,. Of the sea’s soft skin. And the hook of fear we feel. Within our very human lives. So it is with some rationalisation. That we watched your proud sails. We were not with you. For a multitude of reasons,.

Poetry as Note Taking – He Manawa Whenua | The Mo'o Project

https://alanajournal.wordpress.com/2015/07/27/poetry-as-note-taking-he-manawa-whenua

The Mo'o Project. This site is about living a mo'o worthy life. Poetry as Note Taking – He Manawa Whenua. The He Manawa Whenua Indignous Education Conference was my first experience in participating in a conference with translation. I think it’s a really interesting concept and I noticed that my notes looked more like poetry as a way to make sense of translations that were then re-translated, ear to brain to hand. Wisdom is the daughter of experience (Da Vinci). The house is telling us stories. But you c...

Book reviews for middle school readers. Wednesday, August 26, 2015. The last book in Oliver's Delirium. Series leads Lena eventually back to Portland. The chapters alternate between Hana and Lena until they eventually collide. The whole romance thing sort of gets resolved by just ending, which I am fine with, but if readers are on some kind of "team," they may be disappointed. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. This is the second of three books and it started with Delirium. So in the blog post.
