Monday, July 10, 2006. Well, it's about 2 hours before I begin my 30 minute walk to the airport. My shoulders hurt like hell. I'm disgustingly sticky from all the sweat I've made from running around the entire city of Geneva with my personal belongings. It's been one hell of a week so far. It's the longest and most drawn out farewell I've ever experienced. I'm not sure if I'll survive (no Gitte, I forgot to pick up the Immodium), but I certainly intend to live and soak up as much culture than ever before.

Monday, January 30, 2006. I've finally completed one of the missing links to my true Canadian heritage training. Yes, I finally went skiing for the first time ever in life. And it was up in the Swiss Alps, an actual mountain.not some gutter-trash hills, like back at home. So as of 6:15am our entourage (Gitte, Sarah, Chris, Jedrzej, Tom, Luke, John, Iren, Lukasz, Nan, Jessica) assembled at the train station. From there, via 2 trains, we made our way up to Les Diablerets. Along the way, some of us slept.
