Carne Asada Chili and Bread. 1 pound pork belly. 1 pound tough, fatty meat (leg of lamb, brisket, or flank steak). 1 1/2 red onions, chopped. 4 cloves garlic, crushed. 3 jalapeños, sliced. 1/2 pound mushrooms, chopped. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. 1 tsp black pepper. 3 limes, juiced. 1 14 oz can fire roasted tomatoes. 2 medium tomatoes, chopped. Adobo sauce from one can of chipotle chiles, 4 or so chipotles, chopped. 2 cups chicken broth. Salt and brown meat in batches. Set aside. 1 1/2 cups warm goat milk.

The blueberries are in. Bright blue gems pop out against the green forest floor and stain our fingers. Myron waits expectantly to share our harvest. Once we rinsed the berries, we divided them up for two recipes. The first, a quick blueberry jam. The second, banana blueberry bread.
