Shared with us the theme for this months kit I knew exactly what I wanted to make (which is rare for me). My mini needle book measures approximately 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches. So yep, it's small. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Mermaid Altered Tart Tin Trinket Box. Tart tins are so pretty. You can do practically anything with them and end up with a gorgeous piece. Because of this it is hard to think outside the box sometimes, but that is what I tried to do, use the shabby chic tins in a new way. Around her I added clear acrylic sprays. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Getting my Mojo Back. I decided last year that I would start a journal and I follow Journal 52. Well, at the end of last year I got caught on a prompt and hated what I did. It stared at me for months. I was prepping a canvas and had some left over gesso so I covered up the ugly and started fresh. This is what I came up with. I wasn't following a theme just trying to get back to journaling. Layer 1: Hand written tea related words. Layer 2: Tea stained (yep I brewed and stained).

Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Tiny Little Glitter House. This month at Alpha Stamps. The kit is 3D House Ornaments. I was so excited about this because I've been wanting to make some glitter houses. When I found out that Leslie had lights to go with this kit (the add on kit) I was over the moon, glitter and lights! I built everything on top of a Medium Craft Shadowbox. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. A perfect Valentines Gift. This is what every man should give their sweetheart (that or jewelry LOL). A custom decorated chocolate box and card! I have to admit it was really hard for me not to eat those chocolates while I was decorating the box. Alpha Stamps theme this month is Star Crossed Lovers. What good is a card without candy! The papers in the Star Crossed Lovers kit had a lot of blue. I ended up using the blue as a highlight on the box by painting the wooden heart.
