THE CONTINUING ADVENTURES OF TOM AND KAY. Sunday, April 2, 2017. Well the dinghy and davit are installed and ASD is back in the water. Due to the rain, we could get everything done we wanted too, but she is shining nicely. With the dink in the harness, the davit sucks it in at the bend. When we are going around or in big water we need to add additional SS straps which he will be send me a set (he forgot them). The brackets installed below and above the waterline. Top part of the davit (lifting mechanism).

THE CONTINUING ADVENTURES OF TOM AND KAY. Tuesday, March 28, 2017. ASD Haul Out Part 1. We had ASD hauled out in Ilwaco for a week. The purpose is to inspect the running gear, change zincs if needed. The hull is getting a good cleaning and wax/polishing. Kay put her white suit on and painted the bottom. Later this week we get a new davit and dinghy. We are excited. It has been a little frustrating as the weather has sucked! Rain and wind. Racing outside between rain squalls. Getting ready to lift!
