Dear Cal Student,. As part of the University's alcohol prevention program, all incoming students are required to complete a confidential, online alcohol education course, entitled AlcoholEdu for College. The course uses science-based research to educate students about alcohol and its effects. Whether you drink or not, the course will help you make informed decisions about alcohol and better deal with drinking behavior that may occur around you. This part will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.

UCLA AlcoholEdu for College
As part of UCLA s comprehensive and proactive approach to help ensure that students stay safe and healthy, the university asks each first-year student to complete two online courses: AlcoholEdu for College, an alcohol education and prevention course, and Haven, which educates students about issues related to sexual assault and relationship violence. The AlcoholEdu and Haven online courses open on Monday, August 17, 2015. The deadline to complete PART ONE of each course is Thursday, September 17, 2015.
