Monday, March 07, 2011. We celebrated Nicholas' 3rd birthday recently with some cousins at Johns Incredible Pizza. The kids had a great time eating pizza, playing games and having cake. Nicholas understood that this was his special day and enjoyed every minute of it. Like Riley, he is a huge Spongebob Squarepants fan and loved his Spongebob cake and Spongebob Lego's. Sunday, December 20, 2009. After spending $50 on a probiotic, because my mother swears by this stuff, and then learning that a probiotic doesn't do squat if you just have a cold, I am downing as much Zicam and Coldeeze that is allowed without overdosing. I seriously don't remember having a cold being that big a deal as a child, but now, just a little cold will render me useless. And Riley keeps coming in every few minutes with a new "prize" for me. Saturday, March 06, 2010. Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Burnham's house where the grandkids acted out the nativity story. Riley was Joseph, and Nicholas was a wise man. Sadie (who was a sheep), from L to R, Emma (as the angel), Riley, Ashley (as Mary), Athen (as a shepherd) , Nicholas, Carly (as a sheep) and Brayden (as a wiseman). No pictures here, but they took us to see some stock car races that was pretty cool and also took us out on their boat to go rafting, water sking and wake boarding. Nicholas and Jim riding the cars. Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Riley has been telling us for a while now that he wants to go bowling. He's also been telling us that he wants to go back to the miniature golf course. So, for his birthday, we told him he could pick anything he wanted to do for his birthday. Riley decided to go bowling. Stephanie and Brayden accompanied us, which was a lot of fun. Though, I'm not sure if they had more fun bowling or watching the ball come back up the shute. Not to mention a spare. You're such a big boy!
