http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We had a fantastic Easter week. End Aaron took the day off on Friday and we all headed to the farm for three days. The weather was amazing, mid-60's and not a cloud in the sky. We were long overdue for nice. As you can see Ava is standing up without holding onto anything and she is very proud of herself (as are we)! Doctor where they diagnosed him with two terrible ear infections. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Saturday, April 16, 2011. She stan...

Random updates from the Ling Family. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Friday, December 10, 2010. November was a great month for us, we had my Mom, my sister-in-law and nephews in town visiting. Having my Mom here was fantastic, not only did it give me a much needed break but the kids got to spend some quality time with her. Ava. The kids got to visit with Santa so it was still a fun event for everyone. Evan was tentative with him as you can see from his very awkward smile! Mommy, what do I smell? As usual, ...

Bragging Rights: March 2011
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Monday, March 7, 2011. My little peanut turned 9 months old today. She is doing all. Sorts of new 'tricks' now. She started crawling last week (mostly an army crawl at this point) and she moves fast! She is also pulling. The other day I brought up what he should do in an emergency if I was hurt (e.g. finding a phone in our house and dialing 911) and he looked at me with a very somber look on his face and said "why are you talking about this now"? Bragging Rights: Ava at 14 Months Old
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011/08/ava-at-14-months-old.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Monday, August 8, 2011. Ava at 14 Months Old. In the last month Ava has become a proficient walker and is adding new words to her vocabulary almost daily. She is extremely observant and watches Evan very closely attempting to repeat what he is doing or saying. She is a great eater typically but recently she decided she only wants what we are eating. And I don't mean the same. Food she wants OUR food off of OUR plate or she won't eat it! Ava at 14 Months Old.

Bragging Rights: July 2011
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Friday, July 29, 2011. It has been amazing to witness the changes in Evan recently even in the last month since he has turned 4. His reading has taken off, as well as his writing, he just learned how to swim and he's been attempting to ride his bicycle with no training wheels with some success. I love just listening to him talk about things he's interested in. He actually teaches me about things now! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Sunday, June 19, 2011. We spent a wonderful father's day together just the four of us, starting with an amazing brunch at Salty's. Restaurant. We played at Alki beach for a bit afterwards. Ava did not know what to think of the sand and Evan had a blast skipping rocks and searching for shells for his collection. Evan made a great drawing of Aaron in honor of Father's Day. The circles in the lower portion of the drawing are what Evan called 'Dad's big belly'!

I just finished making his lunch and I must say it was a surreal experience.this is a big milestone! I am not sure how much of it he'll be able to read but I plan on writing him a little note on a napkin just like my parents did for me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Today Was a Good Day. We did not have one single time-out all day! He ate a great dinner with no fights, we played on the floor together and he hugged me repeatedly and told me how much he loved me. Then Aaron, Evan and I cuddled together on the couch and watched part of a movie. I was practically holding my breath, it was so great! We were actually having fun with our son again! Funny child quotes to make you laugh. Beautiful Day at the Farm.
