Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Last Minute New Years Eve Ideas! I've always loved New Years Eve! This is generally one day of the year that I refuse to stay in, but after such a wild and lively Christmas, I'm excited for a low key NYE. If you're still undecided about what to wear, check out these articles I wrote for Makeoverly:. What Should I Wear for New Years Eve? Where Can I Find Cute, Comfortable Shoes I Can Wear all NYE Night? And the one thing that I find to be a non-negotiable on New Years Eve?

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Is anyone else ready for the weekend? I digress, anyway, so I wanted to share with y'all a little recap of our annual ski trip with T's family. This year we headed to Breckenridge, CO - which was beautiful. It's always so exciting to see snow, especially when you live in South Georgia! If you think I know what I'm doing, you're wrong. Again, I'm from Georgia. And I only started skiing 3 years ago. So, you can imagine. Now, I can. Now lets cut to my husband. Yeah, that's me.

http://southlandlife.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 4, 2013. So recently, a hang gliding competition was held in our tiny town, so one afternoon we all went to check it out. The main reason we went was to see my mother-in-law tandem hang gliding! The hang gliders put an ad on the radio and my mil jumped at the chance to go. She is sort of awesome like that. The day was perfect. Can you see the rain storm in the distance? Although they provided helmets, my mil brought her own. And they are off! Did I mention there is a fruit stand at our gas ...

My little girl. My little life. My little Mommy musings. Monday, July 6, 2015. That moment when you tell your child – who you haven’t seen in nearly a week and you’re trying to give him some space because he’s a teenage boy and that’s what they need despite the fact that it’s killing you that you haven’t talked to him – that you miss him and he responds with this. It might have been the sound of my heart shattering into a million pieces. She misses me. She's told me 67 times. Oops, make that 68.

My little girl. My little life. My little Mommy musings. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. You know what’s amazing? My daughter’s kindness. Her capacity for forgiveness. It just blows me away. I explained that he was probably embarrassed and possibly caught off guard by the fact that she would even bother to speak to him after what had happened. 8220;But he’s my friend. 8221; she defended with a shrug. Because, why wouldn’t she still be kind to him? Would YOU have been? But that’s my girl. How blessed is she?
