Nursery Collaging (Halloween & More AWESOME Stuff you don’t wanna miss) | Milk & Cookies
https://alexispeters.wordpress.com/2013/11/01/nursery-collaging-halloween-more-awesome-stuff-you-dont-wanna-miss
Nursery Collaging (Halloween and More AWESOME Stuff you don’t wanna miss). So here we are. (Nearly) 39 weeks and still pregnant. In fact, at our appointment it seemed like Elliott may have some Buster Bluth tendencies (who spent 11 months in the womb) with absolutely no dropping at all! Let’s hope he comes out on his own will (without any claw marks on my poor stretched out uterus). And yes, I’m sorry for saying the word uterus (and for saying it again, just then.). Step 1: Get Framed. Step 3: Cut it Out.
Elliott’s B-Day | Milk & Cookies

Will you excuse my month-long absence? I was busy birthing (gross verb, yes) a human. If you’re not into birth stories I welcome you to read some of your favorite posts from times past (hard to choose your fave, right? Or just come back next time when I do the actual 1 month report on Elliott Edward (spoiler alert: he’s pretty cute). Exhibit A: Adorable from hour #1. See? Not lying about the cuteness. Meeting cousin Moriah and Pete! That was not Elliott’s plan. Even with that sign, Ike and I still took B...

Resolving in 2014 | Milk & Cookies
https://alexispeters.wordpress.com/2014/01/17/resolving-in-2014
This is my 4th year to resolve on the blog. I know I’m a little late this year, but I think that my tardiness makes these goals even more genuine. Stay with me here. Ok, I care enough about these goals that I will still try to keep them even though they aren’t necessarily starting on Jan 1. Anyone ever use that excuse not to keep/start a resolution? So on with the show! I have real clients to write for:) But I totally love you for reading! 1 Find a Work-Life-Baby-Husband-Friend Balance. This ties in with...
Alexis Peters: Work-from-HOME Mom :) | Milk & Cookies
https://alexispeters.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/alexis-peters-work-from-home-mom
Alexis Peters: Work-from-HOME Mom :). It’s officially official. I’ve taken the plunge. Gone all in. Called it quits…from office-bound work, that is. If you can’t tell from my title and (drawn out) intro, I decided to quit my eCommerce copywriting job at Dillard’s and set off on a freelancing adventure. This, my friend, is your official invitation to come along. Hold on to your butts. Even before baby boy, freelancing was always something I’ve always wanted to try. Why? My other (attention-deprived) co-wo...

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Pepper's Progress: Week 5. My apologies for the blog hiatus. A couple of weekends of travelling and lots to do at work added up to no picture posts for a whole two weeks (or was it three? Man, I'm really out of it! It's almost like she's a different dog, especially if you look back at photos from when we first got her. I'll give you a reminder. Oh how far she's come! Spread the word about Pepper - I want her to spend as much of her small life as possible with a forever famil...
Brooklynne Boston: October 2011
http://brooklynneboston.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 11, 2011. There was never a doubt in my mind that Peps would end up in an awesome Forever Home. We got an application from a lovely family out in the country, and I immediately knew it was a great fit for her. Lots of space, and more importantly, lots of love from a very special little girl. So we all piled in the new Jeep (Yay! No more rides in the hot burp! And took Pepper to her new home. Where are we going now? Not enough room in the front seat for errbody. We started out in the city.
Brooklynne Boston: Meet Pepper
http://brooklynneboston.blogspot.com/2011/08/meet-pepper.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. As I promised, I'm bringing you a post today about my brand new foster puppy, (Yes, puppy! She's only 8 months old) Pepper. Or Pepper Potts, or Paprika, or Paprikash (Any "When Harry Met Sally" fans out there? Or Patches, or the myriad other names I call her. This lucky girl came with her cute name, but Patches, as you will soon see, might be more fitting for her. A heads up to you now - the photos below of Pepper aren't very pretty! And are we glad she did! When Pepper first cam...

http://brooklynneboston.blogspot.com/2011/08/peppers-improvements.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. Welcome back to Week Two of Pepper's rescue makeover! Pepper has had quite a week making new friends and learning new tricks! She's starting to heal, but had another hump to get over before the hard times were done for good - getting spayed. The procedure went well, but it put her out of commission for a day or so.
