Art blog by Ilse T. Hable: June 2010
http://fineartbyilsehable.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Art blog by Ilse T. Hable. Art and some comments. Sunday, June 13, 2010. Early next morning we painted the same mountains from a different vantage point. The sun was strong already, however, even though the field in the foreground is yellow, a warm tone, all colors, especially the sky and the mountains in the distance looked much cooler than the day before. Oil on linen board. I love the hues the sun creates on the landscape during late afternoon hours. Mascota Volcanos Late Afternoon. Oil on linen board.

Art blog by Ilse T. Hable: Cumulus Clouds
http://fineartbyilsehable.blogspot.com/2011/09/cumulus-clouds.html
Art blog by Ilse T. Hable. Art and some comments. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Again, rain, or almost rain, is the topic of this painting, which is part of my skies series. During the Rainy Season in the Caribbean, beautiful clouds gather every afternoon, the sky gets dark, almost purple and the contrast between the water, the clouds and the sky is gorgeous. Could not resist, even though nature is the better painter. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Baseline Type and Graphics. 25 years of effective identities. Ian’s other work. Ian’s other work. The Mask. (Click to enlarge.). You see here. It was made from paper mache and painted using acrylic to provide a durable and lasting surface. Once dry the mask took on a magical life through the application of those collected shells and feathers. On passing a craft store downtown, I noticed fragments of cow hide for sale, which would become the finishing touch to the piece. Mask 3 (click to enlarge.). You wr...
