Eat-travel-create-love-grow: often and well. In Leavesden, I fulfilled my greatest childhood dream, and I went to Hogwarts. In Leavesden stands the actual studio where every single Harry Potter film was shot, and which still to this day holds every original set, costume, and prop used in the actual filmmaking. To say that I was in awe would be an understatement bigger than Hagrid. I was enchanted. I was giddy. I was a believer. Number 4 Privet Drive and the Cupboard Under the Stairs. The greenness is real, the friendliness is real, the accents are so real (and awesome). I visited Dublin on the east coast and Galway on the west coast, and fell equally in love with both. Tuscan Region – Often & Well

Eat-travel-create-love-grow: often and well. Semi-conquering my fear of heights to climb the steep mountain to Civita di Bagnoregio. Swimming in hot springs pools each night. (One of my most beautiful memories is gazing up at the stars in a Tuscan sky while floating in a warm outdoor bath.). Eating traditional Italian sweets for breakfast every morning. Taking an unfortunate and ill-fated horseback ride in which my horse took off running. It is a terrifying memory but a great story. Like Aligi on FB.

Pisa & Florence – Often & Well

Eat-travel-create-love-grow: often and well. I saw Pisa and Florence in a single day and, while more time would have been wonderful, I was able to see the best of each city in twelve hours. I could not leave the country without having done my part to hold up the Leaning Tower, and the streets of Florence are too beautiful not to stroll. Taking a train and exploring the city of Pisa by myself- a liberating morning. Doing my part to hold up the Leaning Tower for a few seconds. The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
