Friday, October 16, 2009. Last night we went to see Bob Dylan. Matt's work partner had given him tickets as a wedding present. Matt really likes Bob Dylan. I kind of have no feelings on him one way or the other. But we did, in fact, have a really good time. But there were all types. All age ranges. All kinds of styles. Sunday, April 5, 2009. I'd been wanting to go on a trip to see the wildflowers since the season started in March but we just hadn't found a good opportunity to go. But then, unexpectedly, we both ended with Friday off! So I hastily planned a wildflower trip. We headed up the coast to Santa Ynez and while we were driving into where the flowers were supposed to be, we met some bulls. They were friendly bulls. Our first wildflower stop was very windy. But pretty! The hills are alive. And an Easter cookie.

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Wedding day is less than two weeks away! We are getting married at Jökulsárlón, so we thought we'd tell you a little about it. It's a glacier lagoon, where parts of the Vatnajökull glacier break off into the water (that's the glacier in the back of the picture there). A shot from the James Bond movie "Die Another Day". Saturday, December 12, 2009. Other People Get Married Too? Our friends Jesse and Jenny got married last weekend in Orange County. Matt and I had a great time! Monday, March 23, 2009. We have a truly unusual structure to our Wedding Odyssey. We'll be getting married in Iceland, then going on our Honeymoon in Paris, then returning to the US for our super cool Reception. Since Iceland is more than half way to Europe, it allowed us to go on a European Honeymoon we may not have been able to do otherwise.
