ALIKA'S STORY (told by her parents). Following the MRI's at Cedars it was discovered that Alika had a Brain Tumor larger than a golf ball. The tumor was pressing on the motor cortex in the brain and required emergency surgery the next day. Alika was placed in the care of Dr. Moise Danielpour, one of the Nations top Neurosurgeons. His hands are truly gifted and touched by GOD. On October 6th 2010 Alika had Brain surgery, a blood transfusion and a titanium plate placed in her head. Alika is now 7 years old...

Through Alika's Eyes, Inc. December 2014, Alika started a Toy Drive to give back to the Hospital that helped her. She said she remembers the playroom, all the volunteers that came to visit her and every toy they brought. Alika said she wanted to do the same and give the children in hospital that same experience. Alika was able to get the support of her school and the community. Special thank you to MUSE School and CITI Bank Calabasas! A little girl with big ideas!

Through Alika's Eyes, Inc. Today Alika is almost 8 yrs old and her latest MRI shows that her Tumor is back. But Alika is STRONGER than Cancer. She will overcome this. GOD is with her. She is thriving at her school, she loves music, art, dancing and cooking. After everything she went through Alika wants to be a doctor, she says "a Brain Surgeon and an Actress"! Also possibly an Architect and a Chef. Currently her dream is to meet Dr. OZ, Chef Ramsey and Ellen and to appear on their shows.
