Welcome family and friends! Today is day two of our second (and final) summer . Sunday, August 16, 2015. Today is day two of our second (and final) summer vacation. Instead of joining our family down in North Carolina, we opted to stay home and do another stay-cation (for a variety of reasons, including sharks). I'm so glad we did - we're having a great time. Yesterday we went to the pool TWICE! Matt got up with the kids at 545am today and I slept in 8am! Riding bikes and playing on the play ground.

Around mid day on Saturday, I noticed Sophie started having some strong contractions and I knew that the time was nearing for her to have her puppies. Around two, Sophie started pushing. By 2:28 the first healthy girl was born. She will be known as Eleanor during her 8 week stay with us. After an hour and a half had passed, another healthy girl was born.
