Our Chicagoland Adventures
Saturday, August 1, 2015. A couple weeks ago the kids and I spent 3 hours weeding the garden and flower beds. They were that bad! Especially the garden. But now you can see what's growing. We've already enjoyed radishes, two leaf lettuces, peas, bell pepper, green onions, and cucumbers. We have only six corn cobs. I think the birds got to the seeds once we planted. Lots of tiny cucumbers to grow. And lots and lots of tomatoes to ripen. I can't wait for the tomatoes! I plan on bottling a few more this year.
