NICS Beijing Service Centre were stars today! Yesterday I was despondent, particularly when I went looking for new camera bodies and found them very expensive and priced all-over-the-place for different models. So today I went in to NICS Beijing Service Centre on bended knee, onion at the ready, and they had it fixed by 5pm!

Alistair Banks's Blog. 5th August Tokyo, going South. August 6, 2009. For today, we’d decided to concentrate on swimming in the hotel pool, and finding a certain Children’s Castle place, walking via a park South of our hotel. Well, we achieved the pool, but the walk to the park wasn’t easy, we didn’t make it in time to the Children’s Castle , eating was fine, but the paying was a disaster for 80 minutes! Here are a few sights I liked on the way. Someday I might compare the big M in Chinese and Japanese.
