I didn't know how well the peppers would grow, this being my first time. They turned out rather well. Too well, in fact. I am drowning in peppers. Anaheims. Thai Dragon. Bell. Jalapeno. Original pictures and semi-original thoughts. Monday, October 23, 2006. A Carpet of Diamonds. We spent a week at Lake Tahoe this summer, just south of Tahoe City, in a campground called William Kent. Very nice place - huge sites. William Kent was a wealthy conservationist and admirer of John Muir, who purchased the 611 acres in Marin Country now known as Muir Woods. He also saved the land from being flooded by a dam. Ahead of his time, I'd say. On one of our day trips, we drove south to Vikingsholm.
